Founded by Bill Bruford, of the long established Exeter jeweller Wm Bruford & Son, the first Bruford & Carr outlet opened in 1973 at 91 Mount Street in the heart of London's Mayfair district.
The 'Carr' element of the name derives from two loyal patrons of the family firm, Messrs Cartwright and Cree, who supported the business financially in its early years. Subsequently the company has flourished, offering a wide range of carefully chosen antique and contemporary jewellery and silver, backed by excellent customer service.
Having built a strong reputation over the years as mail order specialists, our renowned annual Christmas brochure is distributed to all corners of the globe.
